Here in Scoil Mhuire we are working hard to renew our Active flag and promote and maintain healthy physical lifestyle for our pupils. Scientific research shows that short periods of physical activity–even as little as 10 minutes at a time–performed throughout the day provide health benefits similar to longer periods of physical activity. We know a lot of our  pupils are very busy with lots of great after school activities  but just to inspire everyone to get involved we are giving P.E/ Active  homework 2 nights per week to help boost our levels of physical activity. Below are some ideas for your child to try out  and you might even like to join in!
