Last Wednesday, the 21st of November, Scoil Mhuire celebrated its annual “Open Night” by opening its doors to the public to showcase all the amazing talents of our wonderful school and its pupils. What a busy night it was with parents and pupils both new and old thronging through the doors. Here they were greeted by our First class pupils singing a medley of songs they learn in school.Perspective parents were then brought to see the infant classrooms and meet the teachers by our amazing 6th class Tour guides. There was an opportunity along the way to take a Brain Break with our active First class pupils or even have a tea or coffee with our lovely P.F.A association in the Library. If all that wasn’t enough the melodious tones of our school “Banna Ceoil” brought you up the corridor to the school Halla where you were also treated to a performance from our 6th class Feis Mathew Winners .STEM education has a very important place in Scoil Mhuire and pupils from 4th ,5th and 6th class showcased this magnificently with Computer Coding demonstrations and you even got a chance to meet your new school Robotics Team for 2018 . Across the corridor the After-school Science club was drawing quite a crowd and for those who had some energy left to spare there was Zuma and Gymnastics displays too. It really was a night to remember for everyone involved.
