Johnson & Johnson very kindly sponsored a workshop for 4th class to mark Engineers’ Week last week. “Engineering A Zipline” was the challenge set out for our 4th class girls – Our pupils worked in pairs to design and test a zipline and you can see some of the finished products below. They learnt a great deal about friction and the force of gravity in the process too !
Great fun, imagination and skill was required and the girls thoroughly enjoyed their hour of STEAM -(Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Maths) with the Designer Minds team.
