This years Confirmation Ceremony on the 24th of April was a very special event. It was our first return to pre-COVID style ceremonies. Forty-five Sixth Class pupils received the sacrament of Confirmation (or received a Blessing) from Bishop Fintan Gavin. There was a great variety of songs, musical instruments, solo performances, small groups and whole class harmonies and liturgical mime. The ceremony was made very special
by the girls’ artwork on display. The Fifth Class provided a backup choir and played
percussion instruments. Special thanks to Class Teachers Kay Iníon Uí Shé and Eileen Iníon Uí Mhurchú and to the
Musicians Sinéad Mhistéil, Helen Ní Ailíosa and Jessica Ní Shé.
