Sanita Strikes Gold Again!

We are big fans of Irish Rower Sanita Puspure here in Scoil Mhuire . Especially after she came to visit us with her World Championship gold medal last year . Scoil Mhuire Brings Music to the Streets of Ballincollig!

On Thursday 20th June  almost 50 members of the school orchestra (including our wonderful caretaker Tadgh) from Scoil Mhuire Ballincollig gave an outdoor performance outside the Castlewest Shopping Centre in Ballincollig. They played a variety of tunes using several different instruments including accordions, violins, tin whistles, ukuleles, combi bells, glockenspiel, beat box, tom toms, snare drum, jembe, chimes, chime bars and claves! Cork City Sports 2019

Congratulations to our Under 11 Relay Team who won First Prize  in their division in Cork City Sports held recently in C.I.T. "Comhghairdeas " also to Caoimhe Daly  who won 2nd place in her straight race. We are so proud of all the girls who took part and trained hard with teachers Bean Mhic Giolla Cuda, In. Active School Week 2019 June 17th-21st

Active School Week 2019 will soon be here at Scoil Mhuire. We aim to include a variety of fun activities that everyone can enjoy. Summer Fair 2019

May the 12th , 2019 saw the first Summer Fair event organised by our P.F.A take place in Scoil Mhuire and judging by its success it certainly won't be its last. It had all the ingredients of a fun filled Summer Fair from Magicians to Tombolas, Treasure stalls to Treasure hunts, Fire engines and Hook the Duck to mention but a few. Cór Fhéile na Scol 2019

On the 11th of April 53 pupils from Rang a 3 and Rang a 2 took part in the annual Cór Fhéile na Scol in the  Cork City Hall. Five expert accordian players from Rang a 6 also accompanied the girls in what can only be described as a "toe tapping performance".
