Scoil Mhuire becomes a STEM Academy!

There are exciting times ahead for the students of Scoil Mhuire with the news that Scoil Mhuire is to become part of a STEM ( Science Technology Engineering and Maths) Academy Outreach Programme in partnership with Johnson and Johnson. Robotics Competition in CIT.

On the 23rd of January 19 girls from 5th and 6 class represented Scoil Mhuire in the DELL Vex Robotics Competition in C.I.T. This was Scoil Mhuire's 5th year entering the competition and it really is a wonderful opportunity for our girls.This year our Scoil Mhuire Robot  whom the girls built and programmed themselves was called 'Captain Cook'.The girls used their skills learned from Coderdojo to help with programming and also presented a research skills ...

“Bethlehem”- Christmas Show 2018.

Scoil Mhuire pupils put on a thoroughly enjoyable Christmas Show once again this year. On Wednesday, the 19th of December the whole school came together in the Church of St Mary and St John to perform "Bethlehem the muscial" . Christmas Fair 2018

Last Thursday 6th of December marked the beginning of Christmas Celebrations in Scoil Mhuire with another wonderful Christmas Fair held in the school . This is organised every year by our wonderful Parents and Friends Association(P.F.A) and is always full of festive cheer.
