Robotics Competition in CIT

Scoil Mhuire was delighted to take part once again in the Dell VEX Robotics Competition in CIT on Tuesday the 19th of September. Our girls team comprising of 18 pupils from 5th and 6th class were thrilled to take home the STEM Research Project award for their research the accuracy of Fitness Trackers. All Ireland Winner- A picture paints a thousand words!

Scoil Mhuire was thrilled to learn that one of our 6th class pupils has won 1st prize in the All Ireland Credit Union Art Competition in the 11-13 year old category.  The theme for this year was " The Walk of Life "She will be presented with her prize in Dublin on February 9th. Scoil Mhuire pupils put on a wonderful performance of Christmas themed songs and carols on Wednesday, the 18th of  December.
